Terms of Use
1. About These Terms
These terms apply when you use Coincidence Analysis for Immunization Decision-Making, a free course provided by Scalentric Limited. By enrolling, or by signing in through your organisation, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the course. The Privacy Notice explains how we handle your data.
2. Who Can Use the Course
You must be 18 or older. One account is for one person. Give accurate details, because your name appears on your certificate.
3. Your Account and Its Key
Your account is held by a key your browser creates for this site. Anyone who can use your browser can use your account, so keep your device locked. If you enrolled with your email, the account lives in that browser; clearing the browser's site data removes your access to it. If you signed in through your organisation, you can sign in again from another browser.
4. Organisation Sign-In
If your organisation has connected its sign-in, you may use your work account. Your organisation decides who can use its sign-in. If your organisation stops it, or you leave the organisation, you may lose access through that route. Your progress and data remain under the Privacy Notice.
5. Fees
The course is free. We never ask for payment or payment details. The Refund Policy explains what happens if that ever changes.
6. Ownership
The course text, structure, diagrams, examples and software are owned by Scalentric Limited, except where a source is credited. All rights are reserved except as set out below.
7. What You May Do
- Use the course for your own learning.
- Apply what you learn, and your own analyses, in your professional work.
- Quote short excerpts for non-commercial teaching or research, with a citation to the course.
8. What Needs Our Permission
- Reproducing whole modules or the course.
- Using course materials in paid training, products or services.
- Translating or adapting the course for others.
Write to info@scalentric.org to ask.
9. Acceptable Use
Do not copy the course in bulk by automated means, probe or test the site's security without our written permission, try to reach another person's account or data, overload the site, or use it to break the law. The site blocks automated and harmful requests, and may block the network address they come from. If you find a security problem, please report it as the Security page explains.
10. Deactivation
We may deactivate an account that breaks these terms. The Privacy Notice explains what happens next, including the 60 days in which an account can be restored.
11. Third-Party Software and Sources
R, RStudio Desktop, the cna package and the frscore package belong to their authors and are distributed under their own licences. Cited articles belong to their authors and publishers. Links to other sites are for reference.
12. The Certificate
The certificate records that you marked all 32 modules of a self-paced course complete. It is not an accredited qualification and does not certify competence in any professional role.
13. Teaching Examples
The datasets and facilities in the course are illustrative teaching material. They do not describe real facilities or people, and findings drawn from them are for learning only.
14. No Professional Advice
The course teaches an analytic method. It is not medical, clinical or legal advice. Decisions about immunization programmes remain with the people and institutions who make them.
15. Availability and Changes
We may update, pause or withdraw the course or these terms. We will show the date of any change at the top of this page, and tell you in the course before a change that affects your rights applies.
16. Liability
The course is free and provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Scalentric is not liable for losses arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If a dispute arises, write to us first at info@scalentric.org and we will try to resolve it within 30 days. If it remains unresolved, either party may propose mediation, and otherwise bring the matter before a court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.
